Rick Greenwald is the Principal behind G4as LLC. (In case you were wondering, that stands for Greenwald for Analysis Services.) Rick has been active in the world of IT for more than 40 years. He is the author of more than 15 books, and has put in time at a number of prominent organizations, including Oracle for 15 years, where he ended up as product manager for the first version of the Oracle Database Cloud and Gartner, where he was a senior director analyst for almost 10 years in the DBMS team. Rick published dozens of pieces of research and was a member of the Magic Quadrant team and leader of the Critical Capabilities for Analytic Databases for 5 years.
